Car CO2 emissions corporation tax strategy
No compromise, even when you are making allowances!
From April 2009 the car CO2 figure of 160g/km has become as important to the company car decision maker as 120 g/km is to the company car driver looking to minimise their BIK contributions. The new Capital Allowance rules and lease rental restrictions have been drawn up by the government to incentivise companies to redefine their fleet policies and choose vehicles emitting 160g/km or less by allowing more generous corporation tax treatment.
