Fund raising race night in Windsor
Hello
Could you put the attached on staff notice board or email the departments the attached. Tim was in an accident twenty years ago and is paralysed from the neck down so an electric buggy is key for his independence. So far we have raised in 5 days £5k from local Windsor Companies and a Hollywood Film Actress (Yep shes won Golden Globes and a Oscar). Waitrose, Estate agents, Waterstones and clothes retailers have donated prizes for raffles or monies.
Anyone is invited to the race night which starts at 7.30pm as long as they dress up as a jockey, trainer or owner, actually jeans and a shirt will do. Just come along and take the numbers from 100 to 200. International rugby players/film stars and crew are just a few who said they will turn up, so if you are not doing nothing this Saturday evening pls don’t be scared pop down for a bet and pint.
So far we have had the front page of the Windsor Observer, BBC Berkshire interview with Tim, we just need that final effort to get to £9k every £5 helps.
